  • Job Listing: Minister of Music at Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church

The Minister of Music position at Oak Cliff Presbyterian Church is a great opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in the world. OCPC is a truly cross-cultural congregation, mixed by ages and types of people and also thoroughly mixed by race and ethnicity. It is an island of Christian sincerity and sociability, a place that intends to be the place where everyone is someone. We enjoy traditional hymn and choral music and also a service with more contemporary music. We are seeking the next person who God is calling to become our Minister of Music. We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Christian keyboard player (preferably trained on the organ), who can also direct choirs and help us to open a new chapter in the long story of musical ministry to our surrounding area.

We are contemplating the launching of a new school built around music and the arts in 2018 and are prayerful that God will send someone who could see this call expanding to take on the principal role in leading the music program in the Westminster School as it grows through the years. We are currently looking at trying to launch the school using as a model/template “El Sistema” in Venezuela as a way to empower all the children in our area to learn and grow to their full potential. The combination of positions could make this a full time opportunity.

If this excites you, we would love to talk to you. The Minister of Music position is part time (25 hrs/week) and available immediately. Pay is competitive. Please email your resume to: pastorclay@sbcglobal.net
